Overview

Project Overview

SuperFit Food is a Bangladesh-based healthy food brand offering products to health-conscious consumers.

Ramadan presented a significant opportunity to increase online sales, but it also brought intense competition among food brands, particularly in the healthy food category.

During my tenure at Techabyte Solutions, I worked on the SuperFit Food Ramadan 2026 campaign, taking responsibility for the overall performance marketing strategy and execution.

My involvement covered Meta Ads strategy, campaign management, audience targeting, creative strategy, and ongoing campaign optimization.

The campaign was designed to maximize sales while capturing high-intent Ramadan shoppers across multiple conversion channels, including website checkout, WhatsApp, and Messenger.

An important part of the strategy was also testing whether simple, authentic, unedited product videos could outperform heavily produced advertising creatives.

Goals

Business Challenges & Campaign Objectives

The Challenges

Ramadan is one of the most competitive periods for food brands in Bangladesh. SuperFit Food needed a performance-driven approach to stand out and convert seasonal demand into actual sales.

The campaign needed to address several priorities:

  • Competitive Market: Stand out in a crowded Ramadan food market.

  • Sales Growth: Maximize online sales during the seasonal shopping period.

  • Multiple Buying Behaviors: Capture orders from both website visitors and customers who preferred messaging.

  • High-Intent Audiences: Reach people actively interested in healthy food and Ramadan grocery shopping.

  • Advertising Efficiency: Generate strong returns while maintaining efficient ad spending.

The campaign also explored a creative hypothesis: whether raw, unedited product videos could generate stronger engagement and conversions than polished advertising content.

Campaign Objectives

The primary objectives were to:

  1. Maximize online sales during Ramadan.

  2. Increase orders through website and messaging channels.

  3. Capture high-intent Ramadan shoppers.

  4. Achieve strong return on advertising spend.

  5. Improve customer engagement through authentic video creatives.

Approach

Performance Marketing Strategy & Execution

I developed and executed a performance-driven Ramadan advertising strategy built around audience targeting, multi-channel conversions, and authentic creative content.

  1. High-Intent Audience Targeting

The audience strategy focused on reaching people with relevant interests and potential purchase intent.

    Core audience interests included:

    • Healthy food products.
    • Ramadan grocery shopping.
    • Organic products.
    • Fitness and nutrition.

Alongside interest-based targeting, I worked on building retargeting audiences from:

    • Video viewers.
    • Website visitors.
    • Messaging engagement.

This approach helped reconnect with people who had already interacted with the brand and provided opportunities to reach potential customers at different stages of the buying journey.

  2. Multi-Channel Conversion Strategy

Understanding that customers in Bangladesh often prefer different ways of purchasing, the campaign was designed around three primary order channels:

    Website Checkout

Customers could purchase directly through the website, providing a straightforward e-commerce conversion path.

    WhatsApp Orders

Customers who preferred direct conversations could inquire and place orders through WhatsApp.

    Messenger Orders

Facebook Messenger provided another convenient channel for customers who wanted product information or assistance before purchasing.

This multi-channel approach helped capture both direct website buyers and conversation-based buyers instead of depending on a single conversion channel.

  3. Authentic Video Creative Strategy

One of the campaign's key creative decisions was to test simple, unedited product videos instead of relying exclusively on highly polished advertising creatives.

    The videos focused on:

    • Real product visuals.
    • Product packaging.
    • Product variety.
    • Straightforward product messaging.

The goal was to present products in a more authentic and relatable way, helping customers understand what they were buying.

According to the original campaign case study, these authentic creatives helped build trust and significantly increased engagement and message volume.

  4. Meta Ads Campaign Management & Optimization

The campaign strategy brought together audience targeting, retargeting, creative testing, and multiple conversion channels.

The execution focused on aligning advertising activities with the campaign's primary objective: generating sales efficiently during Ramadan.

    Key areas of responsibility included:

    • Meta Ads strategy and campaign execution.
    • Audience selection and targeting.
    • Retargeting audience development.
    • Creative strategy and testing.
    • Monitoring campaign performance.
    • Ongoing campaign optimization.
    • Evaluating performance across website and messaging channels.

The combination of audience relevance, authentic creatives, and multiple ordering options supported the campaign's overall performance.

Lessons

Key Insights & Learnings

  1. Authentic Creatives Can Drive Engagement

Simple, unedited product videos created a sense of authenticity and trust. The campaign demonstrated the value of testing relatable product-focused content instead of assuming that heavily edited creatives always perform better.

  2. Messaging Is an Important Sales Channel

Many customers in Bangladesh prefer asking questions before purchasing. WhatsApp and Messenger therefore played an important role in capturing customer interest and supporting sales.

  3. Seasonal Intent Creates Strong Opportunities

Ramadan generated significant purchase intent for healthy food products, creating an opportunity to reach customers when their interest in relevant products was high.

  4. Product Basket Size Matters

The reported average order value of approximately BDT 2,310 suggested that customers were often purchasing multiple products or bundles rather than just individual items.

  5. Conversion Strategy Should Match Customer Behavior

By supporting website checkout, WhatsApp, and Messenger orders, the campaign accommodated different purchasing preferences and expanded the available conversion paths.
